Latarbelakang Lebuhraya Utara - Selatan (PLUS)

Dengan kepanjangan keseluruhan 847.7 km yang menganjur dari utara ke selatan Semenanjung Malaysia menjadikan ianya sebuah lebuhraya yang menghubungkan antara bandar-bandar utama di sebelah barat Semenanjung Malaysia. Bermula dari Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah dan terhenti di Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur. Kemudian dilencongkan ke Bukit Raja, Klang. Jajaran ini dikenali dengan Lebuhraya Baru Lembah Klang. Bermula semula di Sungai Besi dan terus menganjur ke selatan dan tamat di Johor Bahru, Johor.
